A Comparison of the English Translation
of Selected Versions

Not all translations of the Bible are the same.  Not only do they use different words, but they also use different underlying Greek text.  The following links go to charts of selected Bible verses related to various Christian doctrines.  If you read these verses carefully, you will see that the text influences the support or lack of support of important Biblical doctrines.  Often the difference is subtle.  Sometimes it is obvious.  Note that the KJV and NKJV are based on the Majority Greek Text, and the other versions are based on the corrupted Westcott-Hort Greek Text.
