How to Be Saved

Do you want to go to heaven or hell? The bad news is that we all deserve to go to hell. The good news is that God provided a way for us to get to heaven through His Son, Jesus, the Anointed One.

The LORD Jesus said, "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it." (Matthew 7:13,14 WEB)

Basic Requirements

  • ADMIT that you are a sinner and have disobeyed God (Romans 3:10,23).
  • REPENT of all your sins (Mark 1:15).
  • BELIEVE that God sent His Son, Jesus, to come to this world and die on a cross to save you and that God raised Jesus from the dead (John 3:16, 5:24, Romans 10:9,10).
  • ACCEPT Jesus' payment of His life on the cross for the penalty of YOUR sins (1 Peter 3:18).
  • RECEIVE God's free gift of salvation, which comes through faith in Jesus (John 1:12, Romans 4:3-5).
  • CONFESS with your mouth to other people that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9,10).
  • REJECT the abomination that causes desolation (Dan. 11:31, 12:11; Mt. 24:15; Mk. 3:14), aka the Mark of the 7-headed Beast (Revelation 13:16-18).
  • PERSEVERE in faith and obedience to the LORD Jesus Christ until the end, even if it means giving up access to commercial airlines, public transport, the new health care system based on gene and cell therapy, the banking system, the Internet and smart cities, and even if it means loss of property, social status, important relationships or life (Matthew 24:13, Luke 9:23-26, Hebrews 3:14, Revelation 12:11).).

A Possible Prayer for Salvation


Dear LORD Jesus,

Thank You for creating me and loving me. Please have mercy on me and forgive me of my sins. I realize that I need You and that I cannot save myself through my own efforts, good works, prayer or religion. I believe that I deserve to burn forever in the lake of fire as punishment for my sins, because You are holy and just and must punish sin. However, I beg You to forgive me.

I believe that You are God's only begotten Son, that You died on a cross to pay for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. I ask You to apply the blood You shed on the cross to my life. Please impute Your righteousness to me and impute my sin to You via Your sacrifice on the cross. I believe that this is my only hope of being saved and having eternal life with You in heaven.

I want to follow you, but I am weak and do not know You well. Please help me to have strength to overcome my sin and the attractions of this evil world I live in. Please help me to know You more and learn to obey You. Please help me be diligent to read and meditate on the Bible every day and believe it all. And please undo all the work of the devil in my life. Amen.
